Constance believes it's time that St. James-Brooklands had representation that is sensible and responsive and that contributes a balanced perspective at City Hall. Here are Menzies' top priorities:

Increased Citizen Engagement/Transparency at City Hall (which would include)

• Form a Residents Advisory Committee
• Increase two-way communication through print, web, open houses and office hours
• Improve accountability at City Hall and expand the code of ethics

Comprehensive Municipal Tax Reform (which would include)

• Create a financial plan that allows phasing-out of the business tax
• Remove the education portion on the property tax bill
• Propose property taxes that reflect land values, not structures

Green Spaces & Healthy Communities (which would include)

• Support river/creek and green spaces protection and revitalization
• Facilitate a comprehensive transportation plan
• Support the use and growth of community centres, pools and libraries
