Neighbourhood Issues:

• Proactive approach to representing Mynarski: returning calls; listening to constituents; supporting ideas.
• Tax dollars going to repair existing roads, sewers, community centres, and parks rather than spending this money on new infrastructure at the edge of the city.
• Strengthened community policing programs; have police officers walking the beat again.
• Improved transit: freeze fares, more buses, support rapid transit.
• Greater enforcement of garbage collection: timely and efficient collection, clamping down on illegal dumping.
• Support plans for Main Street and Selkirk Avenue to become vibrant shopping and dining destinations.
• Encourage cycling and walking: bike lanes, accelerate the completion of the river trail network to Kildonan Park.
